Indonesia’s Aston introduces five hotels including in Bali

Aston International, a leading hotel operator in Indonesia, has bolstered its position by introducing five new hotels, including Aston at Grand Kuta in Bali.

The other four are Grand Aston City Hall Hotels & Serviced Residences in Medan, Aston Primera Pasteur Hotel & Conference Center in Bandung, Aston Cengkareng City Hotel & Conference Hotel in Jakarta, and Aston Balikpapan Hotel & Residence.

According to the announcement from Aston Fair in Medan received by Antara in Denpasar Thursday, the five new hotels in different locations brought the total number of hotels run by Aston International in Indonesia to 25.

Aston Group also announced that more than 12 Aston Hotels are under construction and scheduled for operation in mid-2010 to 2011.

Aston Hotels includes the five-star Grand Aston Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center scheduled for operation by the end of this year, the four-star Aston Hotels in Serpong (Tangerang), Glodok and Menteng (Jakarta), Nusa Dua, Bogor, Purwokerto, Palembang and Jayapura, and three-star Aston City Hotels in Bintan and Bangka islands.

Besides building Grand Aston, Aston and Aston City Hotel, the international management also introduced boutique luxury boutique resorts called Royal Kamuela and selected three-star hotels with a living style theme, Quest Hotel and stylish two-star hotel, Favehotel.

Sales and marketing vice president of Aston International Norbert Vas said Royal Kamuela currently under construction consists of two villa boutique resorts in Nusa Dua with 38 villas and in Ubud with 12 villas.

Quest and favehotel have been prepared to become selected brand and most developed hotels in Indonesia.

Since it was launched seven months ago, he said, Aston International has announced nine new hotels consisting of four Quest hotels, with the first one scheduled for operation in Semarang in mid-2010.

The other three are in Kuta, Legian and Menteng, Jakarta, and five favehotels in Denpasar, and another four in Ambon, Legian, Seminyak and Surabaya.

Norbert Vas stated his side will continue building three brand Aston hotels, and hotel projects in Makassar and Surabaya are under negotiations.

"Our strategy is to push the brand to a forefront position in Indonesia and start building Grand Aston, Aston and Aston City Hotels overseas," he said.

Norbert Vas believed that up to 2012 it would be able to operate at least 50 Aston, Quest, fave and Royal Kamuela brand hotels. News from property-report.com.
